The texture and color of natural marble are naturally formed, and the exquisite texture is naturally formed. It is solid, smooth as a mirror after polishing, high compressive strength, easy to polish and renovate, and simple care. It has become the main force of decoration materials in the home decoration market and is deeply loved by the majority of consumers.
Therefore, the surface appearance quality of marble products is very important. It is the face of stone products. In the processing of stone products, special attention should be paid to the protection of the product surface, so as not to let the stone surface collapse, lack of edges and corners. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the details of surface protection in the processing of stone products, otherwise the surface of stone products will collapse, and the appearance of processed products will be extremely ugly, which will directly affect the appearance quality of products after installation.
The surface defects of some products can be eliminated by edge grinding, but the surface defects like the surface defects of some products can not be eliminated by edge grinding. For example, products with light on the side, bonded products, table panel products with only one side ground on four sides, etc. The surface of stone products is a little broken. If the surface is not treated well, if these products are sent to customers, customers will return them and refuse to accept them. The stone product standard GB / t19766-2005 has a clear standard for edge collapse, edge loss and corner loss on the stone surface. Excellent products are not allowed to have any edge collapse, angle loss and edge loss.
Several representations of stone surface collapse
(1) Tiny gap
This kind of phenomenon is manifested in the very tiny small gap on the stone surface. Generally, it is not obvious with your eyes, which seems to be no problem. But it feels very sharp when touching with your hand. If you don't do well, you can scratch your hand and bleed. After the two plates are assembled together, it can be seen that the surface of the product is broken. However, the burr can be eliminated by this method.
(2) Serrated edge
This phenomenon shows that the four edges on the surface of the product are serrated, and the edges are very sharp, which has a great impact on the appearance of the product. Deburring can not eliminate the edge collapse of sawtooth edge.
(3) Edge collapse and missing edge
This phenomenon is manifested in the lack of a piece on the product surface, which is more serious in the broken surface. The broken edge and missing edge shall be handled by gluing. Customers who are strict with the product will refuse to accept the glue replenishment product. The broken edges and corners of granite and sandstone are not firmly repaired and easy to fall off.
(4) Drop angle
This phenomenon shows that one or several corners fall off at the four corners of the product surface, which is more serious in the surface collapse, and can only be handled by gluing. When the angle is large, the stone with the same texture and color must be repaired, otherwise the product can only be scrapped and redone. Customers who are strict with the product will refuse to accept the glue replenishment product. The broken edges and corners of granite and sandstone are not repaired firmly and are easy to fall off.
(5) Edge cracking
This phenomenon shows that there is a crack line on the surface of the stone product. If it is not repaired in time, the stone product will collapse and fall off the stone from the crack line, affecting the appearance quality of the surface.
The surface collapse of stone products often occurs in the process of cutting stone products. What is the reason for the surface collapse of stone products? Can this phenomenon be avoided?
1. Material reasons are unavoidable
① Loose material
Cave stone, sand stone, sandstone and some loose granite materials are easy to collapse when cutting plates.
② There are many cracks in the material
For stones with many cracks, such as old beige, longevity red, Spanish beige, silver beige, German beige, Shaanna beige, Castle grey, yundola grey, Amman beige, Yabo grey and Yabai jade, it is difficult to avoid the collapse in the cutting process. Fig. 2 Shaanna Beige material.
③ Material: large crystal particles
Stones with large crystal particles, such as white ice jade, white crystal, brown diamond, red diamond, gold diamond, green diamond, jade agate, dark green hemp and Shangri La, are easy to collapse in the process of cutting. Figure 3 shows jade agate.
2. Saw blade problem
This situation should be analyzed in several cases
① The saw blade does not match the stone properties
When the properties of the saw blade do not match the stone, it is easy to cause the stone to collapse when cutting the plate. Granite saw blade cannot be used to cut marble, nor can marble saw blade be used to cut granite. Some stones with easy collapse surface should be cut with sharp saw blade with high diamond mesh and denser surface density.
② The new saw blade is not cut
The sharpness of the new saw blade is not high when the blade is not cut. In this case, the cutting plate may lead to the collapse of the stone surface and the serration of the edges.
③ The saw blade is not sharp
With the increase of the service time of the saw blade, the sharpness of the saw blade decreases. If you don't use the refractory brick to sharpen the knife and improve the sharpness of the saw blade, continue to cut the plate with the non sharp saw blade, which may lead to the surface collapse of the normal stone.
④ Tooth loss of saw blade
If this kind of toothless saw blade is used to cut the plate after the tooth of the saw blade falls off, the performance of the saw blade has been greatly reduced, which may lead to the surface collapse of the cut product.
⑤ The saw blade is consumed
After the blade of the saw blade is consumed, the saw blade shall be replaced in time and can no longer be used. The plate cut with this saw blade may collapse.
3. Bridge cutter problem
① The worktable of bridge cutting machine is uneven and the saw groove on the surface is too deep
The flatness of the worktable of the bridge cutting machine has a great impact on the collapse surface. Therefore, whenever the bridge cutting staff see that the cutter grooves on the surface of the worktable are too deep, they timely mill off these grooves with a milling cutter to make the surface of the worktable flat. This method is effective in eliminating stone collapse.
② Cutting speed is too fast
Many stone production enterprises implement the piece rate wage system for employees, which plays a great role in improving the enthusiasm of employees. However, the piece rate system will encourage the production staff to cut the plate at full power. The too fast cutting speed has a great impact on the plate being cut, which is easy to lead to the broken surface of the cut plate, and the broken surface is more serious. Too fast cutting speed is an important reason for stone edge collapse and corner falling.
③ Radial runout of saw blade of bridge cutting machine
The radial runout of the saw blade of the bridge cutting machine, when the main shaft is damaged, makes the force on the saw blade uneven in the process of cutting the plate, resulting in the easy collapse of the plate being cut.
4. Crash caused by plate unloading and placing
① The force of setting out the plate is too heavy, which will impact the collapse surface
Some stone materials are brittle. When cutting and unloading from the bridge, the staff who cut the plate operate savagely, and the force is too large when placing the plate. In addition, the cut plate has no spacer, and the collision between the plates leads to the collapse of the plate. The lack of such a large piece in Figure 5 is likely to be caused by the impact of the employee when placing the board.
② Collision and collapse surface of hanging clamp
Some products that are too heavy can't be moved by the staff. When using the hanging clamp, there is no buffer material to wrap the hanging clamp. The hanging clamp will knock the cut product off the surface.
5. Product transfer
During product transfer, because there is no strip protection between plates, the speed of forklift transfer is too fast, and the uneven ground causes product vibration and impact, resulting in the collapse of the bottom in front of the product.
The above are all the reasons why the marble surface is easy to bounce. Only by accurately and deeply understanding the causes of the problem can we accurately solve the problem.
