Executive Summary
This product is a custom-fabricated acrylic solid-surface countertop with an integrated sink. It is made from approved 12 mm engineered sheets, not natural stone and not a one-piece molded casting. Miter-jointed panel construction supports custom geometry while avoiding a dedicated full-product mold.
Landiview Stone controls the work through approved shop drawings, current-sheet review, panel cutting, adhesive assembly, surface finishing, a filled-basin water test, final inspection and protective export packing. The integrated basin, sloped surfaces and linear drain area are fabricated as coordinated components rather than purchased as an unrelated drop-in bowl.

How the Countertop and Integrated Sink Are Produced
The fabrication sequence is approval-led so the material, geometry and inspection criteria are defined before cutting.
1. Review the customer's design intent, architectural information, cabinet conditions, plumbing requirements and required finished dimensions.

2. Prepare project-specific shop drawings showing the countertop size, integrated sink geometry, slopes, drain zone, faucet hole, edge build-up, miter joints and relevant sections. Production starts only after customer or design-team approval.
3. Submit photos or videos of the currently available white acrylic sheets for approval. Where relevant, record the sheet code, batch identification, surface condition and acceptable color or particle range.
4. Cut the approved 12 mm acrylic sheets into the required panels according to the approved shop drawings. The complete unit is panel-fabricated rather than cast in a dedicated mold, which can materially reduce tooling cost for custom sizes and project quantities.
5. Machine and prepare the bonding faces, assemble all edge connections as miter joints, bond the countertop and basin components, and clamp the parts in controlled alignment. Acrylic solid-surface fabrication manuals treat seam preparation, joining, clamping, edge build-ups and finishing as distinct quality-critical operations.[4]

6. Finish the visible surfaces and transitions, then inspect dimensions, joint quality, sink slopes, drain opening, faucet hole, edges and overall appearance against the approved documents.
7. Fill the integrated sink and perform a water-retention test. This verifies the fabricated basin and bonded joint areas under standing water before packing. Test duration and acceptance documentation can be defined by the project specification.
8. After the water test and final inspection pass, wrap each unit individually in thick protective foam, separate adjacent pieces, identify the products, and secure them in a project-specific plywood crate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this countertop made from natural stone?
A: No. White acrylic solid surface is an engineered material, not natural stone. The photographed project uses 12 mm Kerrock 1076 Wollastonite sheet. Kerrock identifies its material as an inorganic filler combined with an acrylic polymeric binder.[2]
Q: Is the complete countertop and sink molded as one piece?
A: No. The unit is fabricated from cut 12 mm acrylic panels and bonded into the approved geometry. All specified edge connections use miter joints. Avoiding a dedicated full-unit mold can reduce tooling cost, especially for custom dimensions and project-based quantities.
Q: Can you provide samples?
A: Yes. Normally one or two samples can be provided without a sample charge. Typical sizes range from 100 × 100 mm to 200 × 200 mm. Courier cost is paid by the customer. Availability depends on the current material. A small sample should be used to review the basic color, particle character and finish, then checked against current full-sheet images.
Q: Can I see current sheet photos and videos before ordering?
A: Yes. Subject to actual inventory, Landiview Stone can provide current-batch photos, videos, sheet numbers or batch references, surface-condition images, and a review of the acceptable color and particle range before fabrication approval.
Q: Can Landiview Stone prepare shop drawings from architectural drawings?
A: Yes. Landiview Stone can develop fabrication shop drawings from the available architectural and cabinet information. The drawings require customer or design-team review and approval. They do not replace the structural, plumbing, code or installation responsibilities of licensed local professionals. See What is cut-to-size stone?
Q: How do you control the final layout and installed appearance?
A: For acrylic sheets, Landiview Stone records panel orientation, sheet or batch references, cutting relationships and visible-face rules in the approved fabrication information. For veined natural-stone projects, slab scanning, AutoCAD cutting and vein-layout simulation, client approval, fabrication and dry layout can reduce information gaps, although natural variation and site installation still influence the finished appearance. See Natural stone slab layout in AutoCAD.
Q: Why is a water test required?
A: The sink is fabricated as part of the countertop, so standing-water testing is a required project-control step before packing. The basin is filled and monitored to check the fabricated sink area and bonded joints for visible leakage. The required duration, water level and report format can be set by the buyer's inspection specification.
Q: How is the countertop protected during transport?
A: Protection is designed around the geometry. Each countertop can be wrapped in thick foam, separated from adjacent units and secured in a custom crate. Sink or cooktop cutouts, long backsplashes, thin strips, vanity tops, fireplace parts, narrow wall panels and vulnerable corners may receive temporary support strips over protective film. Such reinforcement is transport protection only and should be removed on site according to the unpacking instructions. Solid-wood packaging components must meet destination-country requirements; ISPM 15 covers wood packaging used to support, protect or carry goods and provides treatment and marking controls.[5] See How to protect natural stone during shipping.
Q: How should the installed acrylic surface be maintained?
A: Follow the approved sheet manufacturer's current care guide. For Kerrock, routine care uses warm water, a soft microfiber cloth and a suitable household cleaner; spills should be handled promptly, rinsed and dried. Use a trivet for hot cookware, a cutting board for food preparation, and rinse strong chemicals immediately. Deeper scratching or finish restoration should be handled by a qualified fabricator.[2] Unlike many natural stones, this acrylic solid surface normally does not require a penetrating stone sealer. Do not apply an unknown sealer or abrasive system unless the manufacturer specifically approves it.
Q: What information is needed for a quotation?
A: Provide quantities, finished dimensions, sink geometry, drain and faucet specifications, material brand or approved equivalent, color, thickness, finish, visible edges, support conditions, destination, packing requirements and any inspection documentation. Pricing, production scheduling and sample availability remain project-specific and subject to the approved scope and current sheet availability.
