San Simone Marble is quarried in Brazil and is a highly figured stone with prominent black and gold or green veining. Each slab has its own unique character and the stone can vary dramatically from batch to batch. San Simone is harder than a typical marble. This durable marble is recommended for indoor and outdoor projects and is available in both in 1.8cm and 2cm polished finish. This versatile Marble is remarkably suited for countertops, landscape features, and flooring in commercial and residential projects. San Simon can be installed on kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity top, fireplace, shower walls, floors, and outdoor cladding.

Marble is softer and more porous than granite so it is easier to mark, but the surface is treated with a sealer to help ease any marking. Due to the way marble is formed, there is a degree of variation in the colour and veining of every slab.
Marble is a construction marble which is made up of calcite, dolomite or serpentine and is able to be polished. Marble is available in a vast range of colours, patterns, and characteristics, with each piece unique, adding style and quality to any room. LANDIVIEW Stone can fulfil all of your marble requirements, creating a product uniquely for you.

How to maintain marble countertops
Looking to maintain that newly cleaned look on your marble? Here are some quick tips for marble maintenance:
• Polish, polish, polish. Want your marble to shine bright under your kitchen light? Avoid waxing and buy an all-natural marble polish instead. Using a soft chamois, polish your counters to perfection. Wait at least one hour before rinsing and drying your counters.
• Sand out imperfections. Do you keep staring at a scratch or an imperfection in your counter? If the scratch isn’t too far gone, try using course-grit sandpaper and gently buffing out the scratch. For heavy-duty damage, call the professionals.
• Use coasters. Coasters are always a smart choice – just ask your mom! Protect your counters from water rings by using coasters under your beverages and quark pads underneath hot items.
